This page describes, honestly and at a high level, how ArtNest treats packaging waste for silicone moulds, powder, kits, and other craft supplies sold prepaid from Pune. ArtNest is not a food business. We do not hold or display an FSSAI licence, and we do not use the FSSAI Food Safety Connect App.
1. What we sell and how it is packed
Goods are handmade, workshop-finished, or imported catalogue items. They typically arrive in plastic film, pouches, tape, or mixed paper-and-plastic packs, sometimes with silicone or other polymer parts as the product itself. The mould or kit you keep is a durable (or consumable) product — not “packaging” in the household-waste sense. The bag, wrap, and filler are packaging.
2. Producer obligations (PWM / EPR)
India’s Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 (as amended) and related extended producer responsibility (EPR) directions may apply to businesses that introduce plastic packaging into the market, according to category and threshold. ArtNest follows the plastic-waste and EPR duties that apply to it.
We do not publish a registration number, CPCB portal ID, or brand-owner certificate on this page because we will not invent one. If and when a registration number is issued and we are required to display it, we will add it here.
We do not claim ISO, “green” certification, or a carbon-neutral label.
3. What we ask of you
- Reuse or keep sturdy packs where you can.
- Separate plastic film, tape, and pouches from paper and from the silicone mould or powder you intend to keep.
- Dispose of packaging through your local municipal collection or a PWM-compliant recycler. Do not burn plastic wrap.
- Do not pour unused casting powder or chemicals down the drain; follow the product instructions and local rules for leftover consumables.
Used silicone moulds are not accepted back as a waste-takeback scheme. They are also not returnable as a change-of-mind sale — see Cancellation & Returns.
